On the left is Myślenickie Turnie, the first railway station, and right behind it is the convent of the Albertine Sisters (open to visitors) as the trail emerges into Kalatówki glade. Lying at the foot of Mount Kalacka Turnia it features a hotel built in 1938. Kalatówki looks especially beautiful at the beginning of May when it is covered with the violet blossoms of crocuses. A trail to Mount Czerwone Wierchy branches off from Kalatówki glade. Walk along the lower edge of the glade, then turn right into the forest towards Hala Kondratowa meadow. The trail goes through the forest, following a comfortable but boring and tiresome route uphill. Watch out—heavy icing is possible even in May. Mount Giewont is visible on the right as you emerge from the forest and, five minutes later, you arrive at Hala Kondratowa meadow. It is bounded to the south by Mount Kopa Kondracka and the Kondracka Pass. Turning back to the east there is an excellent view of Mount Kasprowy Wierch and the High Tatras. There is a mountain lodge in Polana Kondratowa glade (1,333 m AMSL) where you can eat and find overnight accommodation. In 1953, a breathtaking near disaster occurred here when two massive stone blocks (one of them weighing 70 t) tumbled from the crest of Długi Giewont and landed near the lodge. A third boulder weighing 30 t, landed on the lodge’s canteen but, fortunately, no one was injured.

Following the same trail you come to the Kondracka Pass, from where you can climb Mount Giewont, Mount Kopa Kondracka and Mount Czerwone Wierchy or descend to the Małej Łąki or Strążyska valleys.
